Der international renommierte, dreifache Oscar-, dreifache Grammy- und Golden Globe-Preistrager Stephen Schwartz (Musik und Liedtexte) arbeitet derzeit gemeinsam mit Intendant Christian Struppeck (Buch) an einem Musical uber das Leben des Theaterehepaars Emanuel und Eleonore Schikaneder. Die Eigenproduktion der Vereinigten Buhnen Wien (VBW) mit osterreichisch-historischem Inhalt wird im Herbst 2016 in Wien uraufgefuhrt. Ich hatte kurzlich die Gelegenheit Intendant und Buchautor Christian Struppeck ein paar Fragen zu dem spannenden neuen Projekt und der internationalen Kooperation with Stephen Schwartz und Trevor Nunn zu stellen.
McQUEEN to Receive West End Transfer

McQUEEN, which received its world premiere in May at St. James Theatre, where it broke box office records, will transfer to London's West End, opening at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on Thursday 27 August, following previews from 13 August, for a strictly limited season until 7 November.

Jane McDonald takes on the starring role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS when it returns to Blackpool direct from its sell-out season at the London Palladium in the West End. Jane, who is one of Britain's best loved singers, presenters and entertainers, will play the role of Grizabella. The hit show will run at the Blackpool Opera House for a strictly limited eight weeks from tonight 9 July and the Blackpool performances will be the only place theatre-goers can see CATS North of London in 2015.
