Multi award-winning West End star, Leanne Jones, is to head the cast of cult sci-fi musical Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens, which is returning to London for a seven-week summer season at Leicester Square Theatre from Thursday August 1 to Sunday 15 September. Press night is Wednesday August 7 at 7.30pm.

Director Jonathan Berry teams up with actor Caroline Neff in Steep Theatre's upcoming U.S. Premiere of John Donnelly's The Knowledge. The two long-time Steep associates quickly have become two of Chicago theater's brightest stars. Mr. Berry, 2012 Jeff Award winner for Best Director, and Ms. Neff, 2011 Jeff Award winner for Best Actress in a Featured Role, have been delighting audiences at Steep for the better part of the last decade; however, The Knowledge will mark the first time that the two have collaborated on a Steep production. Guthrie Director Joe Dowling today announced 12 mainstage productions of the theater's 2013-2014 season. The theater's 51st season includes first-time Guthrie productions of playwrights Beth Henley and Nina Raine, classics on the Wurtele Thrust Stage directed by Dowling and Marion McClinton, WorldStage Series presentations of returning companies Kneehigh Theatre and Out of Joint, as well as a summertime slate of a beloved musical and a Christopher Durang comedy that is currently a Broadway hit.

Stage regular and BOARDWALK EMPIRE star Michael Shannon takes on the villainous role of General Zod in the new Superman film, MAN OF STEEL, and a frightening new promo for the highly anticipated DC Comics-based superhero extravaganza directed by Zack Snyder has been released.

The award-winning Musical Theatre Guild, a company of professional performers who present concert-staged readings of seldom seen musicals, will continue its 17th season with the Los Angeles premiere of A CATERED AFFAIR. The opening performance will take place tonight, April 15, 2013 at 7:30 PM at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale.
