BroadwayWorld has just learned that Kevin Daniels, best known for his award winning turn as Magic Johnson on Broadway in MAGIC/BIRD, has joined the cast of 24 HOURS PLAYS ON BROADWAY for Urban Arts Partnership and The 24 Hour Company.
Theatre composer Scott Alan, who has spent many years working with some of the brightest talents Broadway and the West End, has just announced on his Tumblr that he is taking a leave from songwriting to focus on his personal life. He writes:
After a sold-out, two week residency at The Hippodrome, Scott Alan will play a one-night only farewell concert tonight, October 26th at 8pm at Pizza Express Jazz Club at Kettner's. The concert will feature special guests that will not be announced prior to the concert.

Smith directs a stellar cast featuring Tyrone Phillips, Celeste Cooper, Paige Collins, Michael Pogue, Kristen Magee and Phillip Edward Van Lear, reprising his role of the patriarch from the original production.
