Tupac Musical HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME Opens Tonight on Broadway!

HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME, written by Todd Kreidler and directed by Kenny Leon, is now in previews and will open on Thursday, June 19. Holler If Ya Hear Me, the world inside Tupac Shakur's music and lyrics, blazes to life in a non-biographical story about friendship, family, revenge, change and hope. Inner city lives struggle for peace against the daily challenges they face in this entertaining and original musical. Through the poetry of one of the 20th century's most influential and culturally prominent voices, we are given a window into realities of the streets still relevant today. HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME & NMoH to Partner for Exhibition at Palace Theater

Broadway and Hip-Hop will merge with the arrival of the new musical HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME, and in celebration, The National Museum of Hip-Hop (NMoH) will curate a Hip-Hop exhibition at the Palace Theater (1564 Broadway at 47th Street), home of HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME. The exhibition will invite patrons to learn about the history of Hip-Hop through one-of-a-kind artifacts and memorabilia, interact with "Dreams Walls" by inscribing it with their dreams, and view a dynamic mural featuring the 4 Elements of Hip-Hop: DJing, Emceeing. B-Boying and Graffiti. HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME ticketholders can view the exhibition at no additional cost one hour prior to each performance. The exhibition begins on Monday, June 2 at 7pm, one hour before the musical's first preview performance at 8pm, and will continue throughout the run of the production.

Broadway's HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME to Offer $43 Tickets in Honor of Tupac's Birthday, 6/16

HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME, the new Broadway musical inspired by the lyrics of Tupac Shakur, is offering $43 tickets to the performance on Monday, June 16 at 8pm in celebration of the late Tupac Shakur's 43rd birthday. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster at www.Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 877-250-2929 or in person beginning May 12 at the Palace Theatre, 1564 Broadway (at 47th Street). The $43 price includes the facility fee; services fees may apply; tickets are subject to availability.

Box Office for Broadway's HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME to Open 5/12

The Palace Theatre box office opens this Monday, May 12 at 10:00 am for tickets to HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME, the new Broadway musical inspired by the lyrics of Tupac Shakur. The Palace Theatre is located at 1564 Broadway (at 47th Street).

MAMA AND HER BOYS Closes Off-Broadway Tonight

The critically acclaimed musical Mama and Her Boys will close following tonight's performance. Previews began February 11 toward a February 18 opening. Originally slated to run through March 4, Mama and Her Boys was twice extended. Upon its close, the show will have enjoyed a 13-week run.

MAMA AND HER BOYS to Close Off-Broadway on May 7

The critically acclaimed musical Mama and Her Boys will close following the May 7 performance. Previews began February 11 toward a February 18 opening. Originally slated to run through March 4, Mama and Her Boys was twice extended. Upon its close, the show will have enjoyed a 13 week run. When combined with its New York Premiere last February through May at the Underground Theatre, Mama has enjoyed a 28 week New York run.

Coleen Sexton to Join Cast of MAMA AND HER BOYS, 4/30

Coleen Sexton will join the cast of the hit Off-Broadway musical Mama and Her Boys April 30. Sexton has appeared on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde and Off-Broadway in Forever Dusty. Her national tour credits include Wicked and Legally Blonde. She is also a member of the Broadway Dolls. She joins current New York cast members Erik Keiser, Steven Boyd Baker and Sarah Kleeman on 4/30. Sexton joins previously announced guest star Cristin J. Hubbard (Phantom, The Pirate Queen) who returns to the show on 5/7.

Broadway's HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME Pushes First Preview to 6/2

HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME, the new Broadway musical inspired by the lyrics of Tupac Shakur, will now begin previews on Monday, June 2 rather than the previously announced date of May 29, in order to allow for a longer tech schedule in the theatre. The official opening remains unchanged on Thursday, June 19 at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway at 47th Street).

Written by Todd Kreidler and directed by Kenny Leon, HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME will begin performances on May 29, 2014 and open June 19, 2014 at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway at 47th Street).

Cristin J. Hubbard to Join the Cast of MAMA AND HER BOYS, 4/23 & 5/7

Cristin J. Hubbard will join the cast of the hit Off-Broadway musical Mama and Her Boys April 23 and May 7. Hubbard has appeared on Broadway in The Phantom of the Opera (she returns to the Broadway company June 30 in the role of Madame Giry) and The Pirate Queen. She joins original cast members/creators Ethan Paulini, Wendy Watson and original New York cast member Erik Keiser on 4/23. On 5/7, the third original cast member Christopher Sidoli will join the cast.

Due to overwhelming ticket demand the critically acclaimed musical Mama and Her Boys has again extended it's return New York engagement. Tickets are now on sale through May 7. Performances continue Wednesdays at 8:30pm at Sophies at Broadway, 318 W. 53rd St. between 8th and 9th Avenue. Creators and original cast members Ethan Paulini and Wendy Watson will appear on April 23 and May 7. The current cast includes original New York cast member Erik Keiser joined by Sarah Kleeman and Steven Boyd Baker. Paulini will stage and choreograph with musical direction by Lilli Wosk. Co-Creator Christopher Sidoli serves as musical consultant and Tony nominee Linda Kline serves as script consultant. The score features contributions from Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, Drew Overcash, Sally Fingerett and Tony nominee Lucy Simon. The run is produced by CEW Productions and Sophies.
