The Paley Center for Media today announced that it will honor the LGBTQ+ community, and the television series that broke barriers, shattered stereotypes, and brought audiences together at The Paley Honors: Tribute to LGBTQ+ Achievements in Television on the Occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall. This momentous occasion will take place at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan on May 15, 2019, at 6:30 pm.

Los Angeles-based band Special Lonely have shared their new single 'Salt' with New Noise Magazine. The song is the first single lifted from the band's EP SLEP2 out June 7 and can be pre-ordered here. About the song, George Fierro III says, ''Salt' is about how good it feels to be decisive and how empowering it feels to take a chance. The inherent thrill of going for it is sometimes worth more than arriving at the best outcome.'

Floridian punks Gouge Away will release their Deathwish debut, Burnt Sugar, this Friday.  In anticipation, they've released the album's third single “Hey Mercy” in conjunction with Kerrang!'s Underground Sounds of America.  Check it out here.

The Country Music Association has announced the final nominees for “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,” as Chris Stapleton tops the list of finalists with five nominations. Producer and musician Dann Huff receives four nominations, the second most nominations this year, while nine artists garner three each—Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Chris Janson, Miranda Lambert, Midland, Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban. 

The American Tap Dance Foundation's TAP CITY, THE NEW YORK CITY TAP FESTIVAL will return for its 18th year from Saturday, July 7 through Friday, July 13 with local and international tap dance artists, master classes, a tap dance boat tour around Manhattan,Tap Dance Awards, Rhythm in Motion Concert Performance and "Tap it Out," a free outdoor tap dance event in the middle of Times Square. *Lineup below.

DUSK DANCES proudly presents its 24TH annual season. Dusk Dances is a renowned and beloved outdoor dance festival presented at Withrow Park each August. This year, for the very first time, a Guest Curator was invited to program the Withrow Park event: Michael Caldwell. Dusk Dances 2018 features some of Canada's top choreographers and dancers, including Peter Chin, Allison Toffan Carmen Romero, Karissa Barry, and Tina Fushell, in a diverse program of dance featuring contemporary, flamenco, tap, Bharatanatyam, and West African forms and styles.

RHYTHM IN MOTION, the American Tap Dance Foundation's (ATDF) yearly performance showcase, will return to New York City on Wednesday July 11 at Peter Norton Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street at 8pm.
