The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater in September 2014 for the launch of its landmark 6th season. The Meeting* has been called "delicious and delightfully droll" by The New York Post, and "hilarious and sardonic" by The Village Voice. A recent story for Slate.com called the evening "so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight." The Fall 2014 season feature tributes to the beloved soul diva Amy Winehouse (September 14), Broadway and Hollywood star Julie Andrews (October 19), Warhol Superstar Candy Darling (November 16) and the 6th annual Holiday Spectacular (December 7). All performances are Sundays at 9:30 PM. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director. Special guests will be announced shortly.

People's Light & Theatre opens its 40th Anniversary Season with August Wilson's Fences running September 10-October 5, 2014 on the Leonard C. Haas Stage. Kamilah Forbes directs. People's Light & Theatre is located at 39 Conestoga Road, Malvern, PA 19355.

The New Group has announced today complete production dates for David Rabe's Sticks and Bones, the first production in the company's 20th Anniversary Season. Previews begin Tuesday, October 21, in advance of an Official Opening Night on Thursday, November 6. As announced earlier, Sticks and Bones, directed by Scott Elliott and featuring Richard Chamberlain, Nadia Gan, Holly Hunter, Morocco Omari, Bill Pullman, Ben Schnetzer and Raviv Ullman, will play a limited Off-Broadway engagement through December 14 at The New Group at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

After extended runs at 54 Below and Joe's Pub in New York, the show recently made its Los Angeles debut and is back for two more performances. The show will feature special guests to be announced.

The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York State affiliate of the ACLU, just welcomed an array of award-winning performers for Broadway Stands Up for Freedom, its annual benefit concert, which was held last night, July 21, at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, NYC). Holler If Ya Hear Me, written by Todd Kreidler and directed by Kenny Leon, plays its final Broadway performance today after 30 performances. The Tupac inspired musical originally opened on June 19 at the Palace Theatre.

De Jesus discusses making his professional acting debut in the cult-hit indie film CAMP, making his Broadway debut as an understudy in RENT, creating the role of Sonny in the groundbreaking IN TH EHEIGHTS, co-starring as Jacob in the 2010 revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES alongside Kelsey Grammer, and receiving Tony nominations for the latter two roles.
