Abingdon Theatre Company launches its new Musical Theatre Lab with two readings of PARIS THROUGH THE WINDOW, a new musical with music by Leo Hurley and book & lyrics by Charles Osborne, tonight and tomorrow, November 10 and 11, in Abingdon Theatre Company's June Havoc Theatre.

Abingdon Theatre Company presents a staged reading of A BAD NIGHT, a new play co-written by Nicole Pandolfo and Amy E. Witting, on Today, November 5 at 8:00 PM in the June Havoc Theatre (312 West 36th Street, New York City). Jackson Gay (These Paper Bullets!) is set to direct. The special one-night only engagement is free and open to the public.

Direct from two sold out critically acclaimed London productions I Loved Lucy gave a one night only benefit performance for Abingdon Theatre Company at The Lucille Lortel Theatre on July 21 and BroadwayWorld was there.

Bay Street Theater will welcome THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY as a Special Mainstage Bonus Production this summer. George Takei, who recently starred in the Broadway musical Allegiance, has been cast as 'Reciter' in Classic Stage Company's upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's PACIFIC OVERTURES, to be directed by Tony Award winner (and 2016 Tony Award nominee) John Doyle, who this season takes the reins as Artistic Director of the vital East Village theater company.

Classic Stage Company has announced that Mirirai Sithole is this year's recipient of the Rosemarie Tichler Fund grant. The Fund was established in 2010 with the mission to assist young actors who have appeared at CSC and who have recently made the transition from their training into the profession. The $3,000 grant can be used by the young artist to continue training or to offset loans they may have incurred while studying their craft. With the grant, CSC hopes to make a difference in the lives of young actors at the start of their careers as well as to heighten awareness in the community to the specific needs of actors. 

Abingdon Theatre Company recently celebrated the opening night of STET, a new play which has extended its Off-Broadway performances through July 10. Written by Kim Davies and developed by Kim Davies, Jocelyn Kuritsky and Tony Speciale, STET is produced in association with The Muse Project.  Artistic Director Tony Speciale directs the world-premiere drama inspired by the Rolling Stone article 'A Rape on Campus.'
