On Sunday, March 25th, 45 metro area high school acts competed in the Semi-final round of the 8th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition. St. Louis performing arts professionals judged the performances and narrowed the field to 15 acts (28 individual finalists) who will move on to the finals on Saturday, April 28th at 8pm at The Fabulous Fox Theatre (a list of acts can be found here).

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) and CPA Theatricals present Numbers Nerds, the [almost] all-girl math challenge, with book by Laura Stratford, Music by David Kornfeld, lyrics by Alex Higgin-Houser, additional music by Dylan MarcAurele and original story by Larry Little. Amber Mak, New Works Development Director at Chicago's Paramount Theatre, directs and choreographs a cast of six, including Danielle Davila, Madison Kauffman, Jake Morrissy, Maisie Rose, Sharon Sachs (Film: 'Home Alone;' TV: 'Weeds,' 'Dexter,' 'Grimm') and Tiffany Tatreau (Ride the Cyclone). Six performances will be staged at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 West 42nd Street, New York City from July 19-23, 2017.

The Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation, The Muny, and the Fox Theatre have announced the nominees for the first annual St. Louis High School Musical Theatre Awards to be held on Sunday, May 28 at 7 p.m. at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.
On Saturday, April 8th, 17 metro area high school acts poured their hearts and souls out on stage at the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition Finals and brought the crowd to their feet at The Fabulous Fox Theatre. Students competed for more than $30,000 in college scholarships and special prizes (full list of awards here). Our distinguished panel of performing arts professionals - with careers spanning film, TV and Broadway - had the difficult job of judging the acts.

On Saturday, March 4th, 40 metro area high school acts competed in the Semi-final round of the 7th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition. St. Louis performing arts professionals judged the acts and narrowed the field to 17 acts (29 individual finalists) who will move on to the finals on Saturday, April 8th at 8pm at The Fabulous Fox Theatre (a list of acts can be found here). These acts are one step closer to performing on the Fox Stage and winning college scholarships, prizes and performance opportunities. 'We couldn't be happier with the level of talent this year. While we usually only advance 12-13 acts to the finals, this year is an exception and we have 17 qualifying acts!' exclaimed Mary Strauss, Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation Board President. The final competition is a Broadway-style show that is FREE and open to the public. General Admission tickets are required and available now at no charge at The Fabulous Fox box office and through Metrotix.
The Camp Broadway Kids, a musical theatre ensemble comprised of 60 theatre-loving kids, ages 12-16, will be featured at The New York Pops 33rd Birthday Gala at Carnegie Hall on Monday, May 2, 2016.
Earlier this month, The New York Pops marked its 32nd birthday with a grand gala evening celebrating the work of Music Honorees Kathleen Marshall and Rob Marshall and Corporate Honoree Carrie and Ted Pryor, Greenwich Harbor Partners. The event began with a concert at Carnegie Hall, featuring a spectacular lineup of guest artists under the baton of Music Director Steven Reineke. The performance highlighted the Marshalls' work on stage and screen.
