A pair of tickets to the sold-out LIGHT OF DAY WINTERFEST 2015 "Main Event" at the Paramount Theater, with headliners LaBAMBA'S BIG BAND featuring Southside Johnny and Gary U.S. Bonds kicks off the first of two Charitybuzz fundraising auctions benefiting the Light of Day Foundation, 15 years strong in its global battle against Parkinson's Disease and related illnesses.

Billboard Magazine honored Bob Benjamin and the Light of Day Foundation with the Humanitarian Award last night at the 2014 Billboard Touring Conference & Awards, honoring the concert industry's top artists, venues and professionals of the year. The 11th annual event was held at the Edison Ballroom in New York City and also featured an appearance by Lionel Richie to accept the Legend of Live Award, and a rousing performance by Kool & the Gang to close out the evening. Billboard Magazine is set to honor BOB BENJAMIN and the LIGHT OF DAY FOUNDATION with the Humanitarian Award at the 2014 Billboard Touring Conference & Awards, honoring the concert industry's top artists, venues and professionals of the year. The 11th annual event is being held tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 20) at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.

With a goal of raising a record half million dollars in its ongoing battle against Parkinson's disease, LIGHT OF DAY WINTERFEST 2015, presented by the Asbury Park Press, the 15th anniversary edition of the anchor event for the world-renowned Light of Day Foundation, will bring over 150 music acts to 30 venues over 10 days in three New Jersey cities and New York City in January, following holiday season tours of Europe and Canada.
