Stage Door Players' MIRACLE ON SOUTH DIVISION STREET Opens 3/21

STAGE DOOR PLAYERS, Dunwoody's own professional theatre company, continues its 40th Anniversary Season with Miracle on South Division Street by Tom Dudzick, directed by Dina Shadwell. The show opens on Friday, March 21, 8pm curtain, and runs until April 13. The cast features mother-son duo Susan Shalhoub Larkin and Tony Larkin (on stage together for the first time!), Kara Cantrell, and Kelly Criss (who just directed SDP's On Golden Pond). Single tickets are on sale now at the box office (770-396-1726), or online at www.stagedoorplayers.net. Tickets for Miracle are $27. Senior, student and youth discounts are available. Stage Door Players is located at 5339 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338, approx one block South of the Mt. Vernon Road and Chamblee Dunwoody Road intersection, in the North Dekalb Cultural Arts Center.

Roundabout to Honor Sam Mendes at 2014 Spring Gala: IN HERE, LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL, Set for 3/10

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) presents its annual 2014 Spring Gala 'In Here, Life Is Beautiful' on Monday, March 10th, 2014 at the Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street, NYC). The evening will be a celebration of Academy Award, Olivier and Golden Globe winner Sam Mendes, who will be presented with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre.

Douglas Hodge stars as Willy Wonka in the brand-new production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London. CLYDE 'N BONNIE Leads in 2012 Suzi Bass Awards Nominations!

The Suzi Bass Awards, Inc. announced nominations for the 2011-2012 Atlanta professional theatrical season this evening to an enthusiastic crowd of patrons and theatre industry artists. The Suzi Nomination Party, which rotates venues, was hosted this year by the Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, GA. The spacious lobby allowed guests to enjoy drinks, hors d'ouevres and the chance to congratulate their colleagues. Guest announcers, Atlanta's own funny men Bryan Brendle, Bart Hansard, Tony Larkin, Aurora Theatre artistic director Tony Rodriguez and Scott Warren shared the list of nominees while playfully riffing on the 2011/2012 Atlanta theatre season.

New Rep Theatre Opens INDULGENCES 1/18/2010

New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is thrilled to present Indulgences a New England premiere and farcical comedy by Chris Craddock. Indulgences opens for the press on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 7:30pm and plays through Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater.
