FINDING NEVERLAND has found its new leading man! Tony Award nominee Tony Yazbeck (On The Town) will take over the role of Peter Pan creator J.M. Barrie in the smash hit, record-breaking Broadway musical starting tonight, January 26, 2016.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents "The Songs of Tony Greenlaw" on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016.  Tony is a London-based American writer of New Musical Theatre who's new show, SKY NEWS: THE MUSICAL is currently making big waves across the pond in the UK.  As well as songs from this exciting new musical, the concert will mark the US and NYC debut of some of his best stand-alone songs, published in the UK by New Musical Songbook and Aria Entertainments.

Taking place tonight, January 25th, 2016, The Arthur Miller Foundation's ONE NIGHT 100 YEARS event honoring legendary playwright Arthur Miller will feature actors reading from Miller's autobiography and unpublished works, as well as scenes from his classic plays Death of a Salesman, The Price, All My Sons, and more.

Tony Award winner Steve Kazee portrayed Fiona's scorned husband Gus on last night's episode of Showtime's SHAMELESS. During the episode, he performed the bitter tune 'The F Word' in front of his wife and a dumbfounded bar crowd.

Coyote StageWorks, the award-winning Actors' Equity professional theater company, will present eleven performances of "Art" by French playwright Yasmina Reza at the Annenberg Theater beginning March 25, 2016. A 1998 Tony Award winner for Best Play that has been packing in audiences worldwide ever since, "Art" raises questions about art and friendship. In an ironic twist of casting, the comedy will bring together on stage for the first time three original founding members of Coyote StageWorks: Founding Artistic Director Chuck Yates, as well as Larry Raben and David Engel, who are company members and serve on the board of the organization. They have been friends for more than 25 years and the Desert Theatre League has bestowed numerous Desert Star Awards on each.

BWW has just learned that Tony and Emmy-winning set designer Derek McLane (THE WIZ LIVE!) will return to design the sets for this year ACADEMY AWARDS for the fourth consecutive year.

The 1860s are a familiar period for Donna Murphy. In addition to winning Tonys for playing Fosca in the original Broadway production of PASSION and Anna in the 1996 revival of THE KING AND I, the actress played Mary Todd Lincoln in the television movie, THE DAY LINCOLN WAS SHOT. All three projects were set between 1862 and 1867. And, while she jokes that the 1998 film was the last time that she had worn a corset, when she read the pilot episode of PBS's Civil War medical drama MERCY STREET, premiering tonight at 10:00pm ET, she knew that she wanted to be involved.

Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director; Peter Napolitano, Associate Producer) continues its 32nd season with the World Premiere of Mabel Madness, the dramatic story with music about the life of the famous cabaret chanteuse, Mabel Mercer, written and performed by Tony Award Winner Trezana Beverley (For Colored Girls...).  Co-directed by Frances Hill and Peter Napolitano with musical direction by Tuffus Zimbabwe, Mabel Madness begins its Off-Broadway run at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street) beginning February 19, opening on Thursday, February 25 and running through March 20, 2016. On Saturday, January 9, 2016, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) kicked off its 35th anniversary with the organization's annual Backyard Ball performance and gala. Themed 'Celebrating 35 Years Through the Lens of the Future,' the evening honored director and actress Rosie Perez and director Robert Wilson with Arison Awards, and performer, Tony Award nominee, YoungArts Master Teacher and 1997 YoungArts Winner in Theater Tony Yazbeck with the Arison Alumni Award.
