Sony Holland Returns to San Francisco's The RRazz Room, 6/7-10

Sony Holland, the acclaimed vocalist who is a longtime San Francisco favorite, will return to The RRazz Room with a series of concerts to welcome her back to the Bay Area. Her all-star band will include Andy Langham on piano, David Hughes on bass, Jerry Holland on guitar and Kendall Kay on drums. Ms. Holland has toured Asia, performed in prestigious jazz festivals and in premier nightclubs such as the Blue Note, Catalina's, the Dakota and many more. Her recent CD Sanssouci (Van Ness, 2010) features Sony backed by an organic trio of acoustic guitar, upright bass and djembe drum.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency will continue its Spring 2012 season with the debut of double Grammy Award winning jazz and pop singer JACK JONES from June 26 to 30. For the performance, Jones will feature songs from his Greatest Hits Tour as well as a few gems from his latest album "Love Ballad." Jones will be accompanied by Music Director Lou Forestieri on piano, Chris Colangelo on bass, Kendall Kay on drums and New York's acclaimed Houston Person on saxophone. The show runs at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street.

Producers Broadway Across America (John Gore, Thomas B. McGrath, Beth Williams), Rich Entertainment Group (Bob and Mindy Rich), Barbara Whitman, Latitude Link, Dede Harris, Sharon Karmazin, and Howard and Janet Kagan just announced that the La Jolla Playhouse production of the new American musical HANDS ON A HARDBODY will bow on Broadway in the 2012-2013 season.

Cristina Fontanelli, the renowned soprano who recently made her fourth annual performance at the prestigious Feinstein's at The Loews Regency and served as host for PBS television specials starring Andrea Bocelli ( "Live From Central Park"), Il Volo, the Vienna Boys Choir and the Qi ong specials, will perform a benefit concert for the Enrico Caruso Museum on Tuesday, June 5, at 8 PM at the Enrico Caruso Room at Grotta Azzurra Ristorante, 177 Mulberry Street, in historic Little Italy.

Mercer Auditorium, 224 Oak Street. The four Spring Concert performances feature FSPA students in all levels and disciplines of dance and musical theater, as well as the FSPA Youth Choir, performing troupes, dance ensembles, Groovemasters percussion ensemble, Jazz Krewe, and the international touring ensemble Electric Youth.
