The MYTHBUSTERS are getting into action hero mode again - this time with Seth Rogen, star and co-writer of the upcoming 3D action comedy The Green Hornet. On Wednesday, December 15 at 9PM ET/PT, the Green Hornet Special episode will feature Rogen and the MYTHBUSTERS team taking on two exciting scenes from the upcoming January motion picture release. The film will be released in theaters nationwide on January 14, 2011.

According to the New York Times, the miniseries about John F. Kennedy's presidency which was criticized for its historical accuracy prior to filming will not be shown on the History channel.

SPRING AWAKENING and GLEE star Jonathan Groff, currently featured in the West End revival of DEATHTRAP, has a featured role in the new Robert Redford film 'The Conspirator,' which will be released in spring 2011.

HISTORY(TM), which finished 2009 as one of the top 10 networks in adults 25-54 in all of cable television, and currently ranks the number one non-fiction network 2010 to date, today announced it will add 15 new original series and 10 tent pole specials to its roster. The announcement was made by Nancy Dubuc, President and General Manager for HISTORY. The network is increasing its investment in programming as it commits to moving into the top 5 in key demos during the 2010-11 season.

According to published reports, former All My Sons star Katie Holmes will play Jacqueline Kennedy in a new television miniseries, 'The Kennedys' for the History Channel. The eight-hour miniseries - the first for the History Channel - will also star Greg Kinnear as John F. Kennedy. The series is written by Steve Kronish and directed by Jon Cassar, who collaborated on '24.' An air time is set for 2011.
