Unfortunately due to outstanding conflicts Ophira Eisenberg, Real Characters, and Blaise Allysen Kearsley's How I Learned will not be appearing in this year's festival as previously scheduled.
Nonesuch Records releases How I Knew Her-the label debut from Nataly Dawn, the California-based singer/songwriter of the duoPomplamoose-on January 22, 2013. The popular pop-jazz duo Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano return to the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, to premiere "The Night Has a Thousand Eyes" for a one-week major engagement running through Saturday October 20. The newly minted evening features a treasure chest of assorted jazz and pop gems that the husband and wife tandem pull out by the handful -- songs from the Duke Ellington, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Joni Mitchell, Stephen Sondheim and Tom Waits.
