TWILIGHT SONG, the final play by Kevin Elyot, writer of the classic comedy My Night with Reg, will receive its world premiere at Park Theatre from 12 July - 12 August, with a press night on 17 July.

The National Theatre's today (17 May 2017 ) announced the 34 strong cast for its acclaimed production of War Horse which begins a major tour of the UK on 15 September 2017.

Bristol Old Vic has announced it will present a performance of its politically charged Medea to an exclusively female audience on Friday 26 May.

Rehearsals begin for the thrilling political tragedy Julius Caesar, directed by Simon Dormandy, in a follow up to last year's ground-breaking collaboration between Bristol Old Vic and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School's graduating students. Performances will play 9 June-1 July 2017, with press night slated for 14 June.

Bristol Old Vic is excited to announce that this Easter weekend, four short films recorded during Messiah's triumphant return to the theatre will be available to stream exclusively on Apple Music.

Eighth Blackbird is pleased to announce that 30 early-career musicians have been chosen to receive Fellowships to the inaugural Blackbird Creative Lab, a two-week summer training program taking place June 11 - 24 at the Besant Hill School in Ojai, California. The Fellows comprise eighteen performers, six composers, and two ensembles. In addition to Eighth Blackbird, the Blackbird Creative Lab Faculty includes composers Jennifer Higdon and Ted Hearne, and director/filmmaker Mark DeChiazza. During the session, a stellar array of Guest Artists will rotate through The Lab: composer Steve Reich, composer/performer Pamela Z, flutist/composer Ned McGowan, and from the Ojai Music Festival, curator Tom Morris and producer Elaine Martone, who also serves as Director of the Blackbird Creative Lab.

The National Theatre today announced dates and venues for the 2017 tour of its multi-award-winning production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling book by Simon Stephens and directed by Marianne Elliott.

Periapsis Music and Dance presents Imminence, a new work by choreographer Erin Dillon and composer Jonathan Howard Katz, on April 1 at 8:00 pm and April 2 and 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm at GK ArtsCenter (aka Gelsey Kirkland Academy), 29 Jay Street, Brooklyn.  Tickets are $24 advance, $30 at the door, with special pricing for students and artists of $15 advance and $20 at the door, available at http://periapsismusicanddance.org/calendar/.

For four nights this April, four extraordinary actors will join renowned opera and concert conductor Harry Bicket, Europe's most celebrated Baroque orchestra The English Concert, the glorious Erebus Ensemble and four giants of classical music Julia Doyle, Catherine Wyn-Rogers, Joshua Ellicott and Brindley Sherratt for four one-off stagings of Handel's masterpiece, Messiah.

THE NATIONAL Theatre's internationally-acclaimed production of The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time comes to Canterbury next month (March).

World premieres, new writers and ground-breaking adaptations have been announced for 2017 at the National Theatre.

Three school-mates, three boys on the verge of adulthood, three lads with dreams bigger than the prospects that staying where they are can offer.  The army - a career, opportunity, adventure, skills and excitement. 

Still Game's Scott Reid is to star as Christopher Boone in The National Theatre's production of the Olivier award-winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time when it returns to the King's in August next year as part of a major UK and Ireland opening at the Lowry in Salford on 21 January.

Full casting is announced on Baddies: the Musical, which returns for Christmas with new staging and choreography from Caroline Pope, this follows last year's hugely successful and critically acclaimed sold-out run.  Artistic Director Purni Morell directs this deliciously artful and mischievously comic (anti) musical about fairytales much feared anti-heroes.

The Women's Theater Company, a professional theater company in Parsippany, NJ, presents Spin, written by Robert William Sherwood.

New work by Inua Ellams, Ya?l Farber, DC Moore, Lindsey Ferrentino and Nina Raine is announced today by Rufus Norris, Director of the National Theatre. Four world premieres and two European premieres are further announced as forthcoming productions for the National Theatre in 2017.
