A&E Network Orders 150 Additional Episodes of LIVE PD

A&E Network has ordered 150 more episodes of the hit original series, 'Live PD,' which documents policing in America in real time, from Big Fish Entertainment, an MGM Company. Totaling 450 hours, the deal extends the series' run into 2019, with the new order bringing the number of commissioned episodes to 293 to date. 'Live PD' returns for a third season tonight at 9pm ET/PT. The announcement was made today by Elaine Frontain Bryant, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming for A&E. 'Live PD' airs Friday and Saturday nights at 9pm ET/PT.

The National Theatre announces today that The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, adapted by Simon Stephens from the novel by Mark Haddon, and directed by Marianne Elliott (War Horse, Angels in America, Company) will return to the West End in November 2018 for a limited season. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time begins previews at the Piccadilly Theatre on 29 November, with an opening night on 11 December.

Shakespeare Theatre Co Names Simon Godwin Artistic Director

The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) today announces the appointment of Simon Godwin as its next Artistic Director. Godwin, currently the Associate Director at the National Theatre of Great Britain (NT), previously served as Associate Director of London's Royal Court Theatre and Associate Director at the Bristol Old Vic in the United Kingdom. He will succeed Michael Kahn, who has been at the helm of STC since 1986.
