The Alley Theatre brings back David Sedaris's THE SANTALAND DIARIES December 1 through 31 in the Neuhaus Theatre.

It is a genuine pleasure to see such a capable cast going through their paces with verve and a certain aplomb. When an ensemble so obviously enjoy what they are doing, it connects instantly with the audience, and a full house roared and applauded throughout the performance.

The production features members of the Resident Acting Company and begins October 7 and runs through November 5. Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for Garson Kanin's Born Yesterday, a delicious screwball classic, beginning performances June 3. Featuring Alley Company Members and directed by Jonathan Moscone, the play is the grand finale of the inaugural season in the newly renovated Hubbard Theatre.

The comedy was adapted by Playwright Mark Brown, based on the 1873 novel by Jules Verne, and the production is directed by Mark Shanahan. The story is about Phileas Fogg's attempt to circumnavigate the globe within eighty days as a result of a wager with members of the London-based aristocratic group, the Reform Club.
