It is this year's home of the VARIATIONS ten-minute theater festival, which, for 2023, is VARIATIONS ON THE END, under the capable wing of Rapid Lemon Productions. Smolder is the final play in an entire season dedicated to new plays by emerging playwrights. The Strand Theater is very excited to feature playwright Julie Lewis, whose last play Jarvis Legend's Borrowed Skin was featured in the 2008 Baltimore Playwright's Festival.
