Avid Theatricals presents the Off-Broadway premiere of Lucky Guy, a new musical comedy, written and directed by Willard Beckham. Performances will begin on Thursday, April 28, 2011 and continue through Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Little Shubert Theatre (422 West 42nd Street, between 9th & Dyer Avenues). Two-time Tony Award-nominee Christopher Sieber (Monty Python's Spamalot, Shrek The Musical) will begin performances as Georges in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES earlier than previously announced. Sieber will begin performances in the Tony Award-winning musical revival this Friday, March 11, instead of Tuesday, March 15. Sieber stars sopposite four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein as Albin. LA CAGE AUX FOLLES is playing at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street).

It's just been announced that Wilson Jermaine Heredia, who famously created the drag queen role of Angel in the 1996 Off Broadway production of RENT before winning a Tony for the same role on Broadway will join LA CAGE AUX FOLLES on Broadway on February 15th. Heredia will replace Robin de Jesus in the part, and joins the production at the same time as new stars Harvey Fierstein and Jeffrey Tambor.
