Tune in to listen to Broadway's PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT 'Divas' Jacqueline B. Arnold, Anastacia McCleskey and Ashley Spencer as they visit WCBS FM 101.1 radio host Bob Shannon in the studio to belt out a medley of dance floor favorite hit songs from the Tony Award winning smash musical tomorrow, Thursday, August 18 to kick off 'Divas of Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame' Thursday. The segment will air live in the 12:00pm half hour.

A.R.T. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) will present The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, opening the A.R.T.'s 2011-2 season on August 117 at the Loeb Drama Center. The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, by George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, and Ira Gershwin, is adapted by Suzan-Lori Parks and Diedre Murray, and directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus.

92nd Street Y has announced that Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, will continue his popular multi-evening 92nd Street Y conversation series, 'Broadway Talks with Jordan Roth' with Golden Globe Award-winning stage and screen star Angela Bassett. Roth and Bassett will discuss her upcoming role opposite Samuel L. A.R.T. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) opens its 2011-12 season with The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, by George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, and Ira Gershwin. The adaptation by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks and Obie Award-winning composer Diedre L. Murray, directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus, with choreography by Ronald K. Brown, begins previews on August 17 and opens for the reviewing press on August 31 at 7pm. Performances are at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge. Tickets for preview performances are currently on sale, remaining tickets for the run go on sale on July 12.

Laurence Fishburne to Exit CSI This Season

According to published reports, Tony-winning actor Laurence Fishburne will be leaving CSI: Crime Scene Investigation at the end of this season, as his contract has just expired. He currently plays Dr. Raymond Langston in the CBS crime drama.
