In the first rock 'n' roll performances of its production history, Lyric Opera of Chicago presents Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar the North American debut of Timothy Sheader's explosive, high-energy, Olivier Award-winning production from London's Regent's Park Open-Air Theatre, presented April 27-May 20, 2018 at the Lyric Opera House.

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre have today announced details of their 2018 season, which includes Peter Pan, As You Like It, Dinosaur World Live, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Turn of the Screw, a co-production with English National Opera.

Following its overwhelming sell-out success in 2016, Jesus Christ Superstar returns this summer now through 16 September, giving audiences one final chance to see the production in its original home.
