Maya Rudolph to Guest Star on IFC's DOCUMENTARY NOW

IFC announced today that actress and comedian Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live, Bridesmaids, Maya and Marty) will co-star in a music-centric episode of Documentary Now! Season 2. In 'Test Pattern,' Rudolph joins series' regulars Fred Armisen and Bill Hader on the stage as they perform one of the greatest concerts that never really happened.

Go Comedy! Sets End of Year Offerings

2014 will end with four special events at Go Comedy! On Tuesday, December 23, the theater will host a special fundraiser event for The Detroit Creativity Project. The following weekend, for the second year in a row, the theater will host a 24-hour improv marathon for charity, followed by a roast 2014. Finally, Go Comedy! will bring the year to a close with two very special New Year's Eve performances of the Go Comedy! All Star Showdown. Tickets for these special events ($10 - $50) are available now online at www.gocomedy.net and beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday - Sunday in person at the Go Comedy! box office.

The Second City has announced two epic events: the return of its legendary 24-hour improv and music marathon, as well as an intimate all-star evening. Proceeds from both shows will support families from Chicago's Onward Neighborhood House.

Iceslide Films, in conjunction with Wells Entertainment Ltd., presents the release of the epic period film, 'INVASION 1897.' The sweeping historical drama is based on the 1897 invasion of the great Benin Kingdom by the British, who then carted off more than 3,224 pieces of Benin arts and artifacts, which, to date, still occupy museums around the globe. The film was produced and directed by award-winning director Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, who has been on a worldwide campaign to build support for the movie, and awareness of the issues it raises.
