At age 15, Peter Noone reached international fame as 'Herman,' lead singer of the legendary '60s pop band Herman's Hermits. Beloved by screaming teens thanks to Noone's good looks and big hits like I'm Into Something Good and Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter, Herman's Hermits were dubbed 'the original British Invasion band' and went on to sell more than 60 million recordings, racking up seven gold albums along the way.

City of Aurora Awards New RiverEdge Park Music Garden Programming & Management to ACCA

The Aurora City Council voted last night to award the Aurora Civic Center Authority (ACCA) an 18-month agreement to provide programming and venue management services for the new RiverEdge Music Garden and John C. Dunham Pavilion, a premier regional festival park currently under construction in downtown Aurora along the banks of the Fox River.

The Paramount Theater is presenting the nostalgic jukebox revue Route 66 for a nine-week run, four shows a week, in the intimate, 216-seat Copley Theater. Tickets are on sale now for Paramount's production of Roger Bean's Route 66, a jukebox comedy about a gang of rowdy Chicago service station attendants who take an imaginary Chicago to L.A. road trip singing tunes by Willie Nelson, Woody Guthrie, Roger Miller and The Beach Boys, just to name a few.
