JERSEY BOYS 3D Advertisement Launches in London Cinemas

The producers of smash-hit West End show 'JERSEY BOYS' have commissioned Pink Banana Studios, a new digital production company, to create an innovative 3D cinema advert, which first aired on Friday 5 March at 300 cinemas across London and the South East, before screenings of Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland'. This is the first 3D cinema advert in the world to be created by a theatre production company.

This March the Harris Theater for Music and Dance in Millennium Park will present its inaugural Broadway Luminaries series as part of the Harris Theater Presents 2009-2010 season of world-renowned national and international artists and ensembles. Featuring Broadway legends of script and song, the series features an 'A Life in the Theater' dialogue with composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim, Thursday, March 4 at 7:30 pm and an evening with Winnetka native and two-time Tony Award-winning actress and songstress Christine Ebersole, Thursday, March 25 at 7:30 pm.

BC/EFA Presents Free Advance Screening of WAKING SLEEPING BEAUTY, 3/16

Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS will host a special free advance screening of WAKING SLEEPING BEAUTY, the highly anticipated new film, on Tuesday, March 16 at 7:30 PM at The Directors Guild of America (110 West 57th Street). Immediately after the screening, there will be a discussion featuring the film's director Don Hahn and producer Peter Schneider. The discussion will be moderated by Patrick Pacheco, who conducted interviews for the film.

Friday 26th February at 10:35pm, Andrew Lloyd Webber was a guest on Jonathan Ross's BBC1 TV show, 'Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.' Webber - along with fellow guests Johnny Depp, director Tim Burton and singer Sade - joined Jonathan on the famous sofa to chat about LOVE NEVER DIES, his current production which is in preview at London's Adelphi Theatre. Sierra Boggess, who plays the role of Christine in the show, performed the title song from the production, 'LOVE NEVER DIES.'

The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, announced nominations today for its 37th Annual Annie Awards recognizing the year's best animated features, television productions, commercials, short subjects and outstanding individual achievements in the field of animation. Walt Disney Animation Studios' 'The Princess and the Frog' received eight nominations, including Best Animated Feature and individual nominations for animated effects, character animation, production design and voice acting, while its 'Prep and Landing' received nine nominations including Best Animated Television Production and individual nominations for character animation, character design, music, production design, storyboarding and writing.

Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Club, the oldest theatrical group in the U.S., has chosen stage and screen favorite Anne Hathaway as its Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year. The honor is bestowed upon the selected thespian each year in an over-the-top ceremony involving a well costumed parade through Cambridge and a roast in their honor. This year's event will take place on January 28.
