Waterwell continues its annual series of new play workshops at the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan with the Nothing Is The End Of The World (except for the end of the world), a new play by Bekah Brunstetter (Oohrah!) and directed byStephen Brackett (After). Performances will be Wednesday, May 2nd through Saturday, May 5th at 7p, with an additional Saturday matinee at 2p.
The Brown University/Trinity Rep MFA Programs present Slawomir Mrozek's TANGO, directed by Shana Gozansky (Brown/Trinity Directing MFA '12). Performances are May 3 through May 13 in the Citizens Bank Theater, Pell Chafee Performance Center, 87 Empire St., Providence. La MaMa presents the New York Premiere of That Beautiful Laugh, the inaugural theatrical production by The Artigiani Troupe. That Beautiful Laugh, a clown show conceived and directed by Obie Award Winner Orlando Pabotoy, stars Alan Tudyk, Julia Ogilvie and Carlton Ward, and is part of La MaMa's 50th Anniversary season. The production runs from March 16 - 25, 2012 in a limited engagement at The Club at La MaMa, located at 74A East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and the Bowery in New York City.
Shakespeare on the Sound, Connecticut's premier outdoor summer theater company, will present a newly conceived productionof Shakespeare'sRomeo and Juliet, under the direction of Joanna Settle, this June and July for the company's 17th season.
