Waites, who has appeared in over 30 film and teleVision Productions (including John Carpenter's The Thing, And Justice for All, and recurring roles on Law & Order and HBO's Oz) currently runs his own acting studio in New York and also been a member of the Actor's Studio since 1984.

Lincoln Center Theater has announced final casting for its upcoming production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific. The production, which begins rehearsals Tuesday, January 22, will be directed by Bartlett Sher. Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific, begins performances Saturday evening, March 1. Opening night is Thursday evening, April 3 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
