New York's OBIE Award-winning Epic Theatre Ensemble (Zak Berkman, Melissa Friedman, Ron Russell, Founding Executive Directors) has announced that it will present the world premiere of A More Perfect Union, a serious comedy by Vern Thiessen. Under the direction of Ron Russell, the two-character play features Melissa Friedman and Godfrey L. Simmons, Jr. as Supreme Court law clerks.

Mr. Roberts has withdrawn from the production to attend to family matters. Soho Rep - the nine-time OBIE Award-winning, Off-Broadway theatre company - which sold out its initial run and its first extension, announces a second extension of its critically acclaimed production of Sarah Kane's landmark play BLASTED which will now play an unprecedented additional six weeks - through December 21st, according to Soho Rep's Artistic Director Sarah Benson.

After the performance, when the casts greeted one another on stage, the occasion was quite the family affair as Shrek's Sutton Foster and Jennifer Cody are sister and wife, respectively, of Dust star Hunter Foster.
