On tonight's episode of SMASH entitled 'The Movie Star', 'Bombshell' is turned upside-down by the arrival of movie star Rebecca Duvall (special guest star Uma Thurman). Karen (Katharine McPhee) and Ivy (Megan Hilty) are drawn into an uneasy alliance against their new rival -- but can they overcome their history? The romance between Tom (Christian Borle) and Sam (Leslie Odom, Jr.) heats up, while Julia (Debra Messing) and Frank (Brian d'Arcy James) must put aside their differences to address a family crisis. The episode airs Monday, April 16 at 10:00 pm/ET on the NBC network.

The Drama League has announced Drama League nominee Megan Hilty (9 To 5, "Smash") and Justin Long (Seminar) will co-host the announcement of the The 2012 Drama League Nominees for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Sardi's. As in years past, the nominations ceremony will be broadcast worldwide via live stream right here on BroadwayWorld!

Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announced today the final production of the 2012 Nikos Stage Season and an additional pre-season offering for the Festival's 58th, the second under Ms. Gersten's leadership. Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson (Pieces of April; WTF's The Ride Down Mount Morgan) and Bradley Cooper (Limitless; The Understudy at WTF) will return to Williamstown in The Elephant Man, written by Bernard Pomerance and directed by Scott Ellis, completing the Nikos Stage season and playing from July 25 - August 5, 2012.

Several Cast members from SEMINAR, now playing at The Golden Theatre, appeared at Two Boots in their Theater District Neighborhood location to sample the new SEMINAR-inspired pizza. The new slice will be called The Cross-Dressing Gang Leader (named after a reference in the play) and includes a white Grandma crust with Tasso, Red Onions and a criss-cross of Red & Green Pesto. While NBC's SMASH is still in the midst on Season One, buzz has already been circulating that the team is looking to bring 'Bombshell,' the musical within the series, to the Broadway stage. According to the LA Times, bringing the Marilyn musical to the Great White Way is not a current priority.
