NBC and Columbia Records announced that the soundtrack for Bombshell, the musical within NBC's Golden Globe-nominated series television hit 'SMASH' (Tuesdays, 10-11pm ET), will be released on February 12. Bombshell is available now for pre-order.

DEAD ACCOUNTS, the new comedy by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien, and starring two-time Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz and Katie Holmes, concludes its Broadway run today, January 6, at the Music Box Theater. As of today, Dead Accounts has played 27 preview performances and 44 regular performances. Screen Actors Guild Foundation and Broadway World have partnered for an inaugural filmed Conversations Q&A series to recognize and celebrate the vibrant theatre community in New York City and the union actors who aspire to have a career on the stage and screen. The kick-off event, a two hour career Conversations with Judy Greer moderated by Broadway World's own Richard Ridge was recently held at the NYIT Auditorium, and you can check out highlights from the discussion below!

Marsha Stephanie Blake, Eisa Davis, Dashiell Eaves, Frank Harts, Robert Hogan, Jenny O'Hara, Carra Patterson, Amanda Quaid and Victor Williams will be featured in the LCT3 production of Kirsten Greenidge's LUCK OF THE IRISH, directed by Rebecca Taichman. LUCK OF THE IRISH begins performances Monday, January 28 and opens on Monday, February 11 for a six- week limited engagement through Sunday, March 10 at the Claire Tow Theater, LCT3's new home atop the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street).

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the man and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the leader merge in Katori Hall's award-winning drama The Mountaintop, receiving its Philadelphia premiere at Philadelphia Theatre Company on January 18-February 17 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (Broad and Lombard Streets). Directed by Patricia McGregor, the two-person cast features Sekou Laidlow and Amirah Vann.

Even if the names Marc Kudisch and Jeffrey Denman are as foreign to you as the middle monikers of the three wise men, there's a wonderful familiarity to their on-stage personas as The Holiday Guys.  It's the kind of relaxed, off-the-cuff give and take that's been enjoyed for generations, whether packaged as Hope and Crosby, Allen and Rossi or Brooks and Reiner.

Just announced is word that DEAD ACCOUNTS, led by Norbert Leo Butz and Katie Holmes will play its final performance on Sunday, January 6. When it plays its final performance, DEAD ACCOUNTS will have played 27 preview performances and 44 regular performances.

Entertainment superstar Liza Minnelli - winner of an Oscar, two Golden Globes, a Grammy, an Emmy and multiple Tony Awards - will guest-star as herself in NBC's musical drama SMASH in the upcoming season, and will sing an original song with series star Christian Borle that was written by the show's celebrated composer and lyricists Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. City Theatre begins the New Year with Seminar, a sharp, Broadway comedy about power, sex, and art by Theresa Rebeck. Directed by Tracy Brigden, Seminar runs on City Theatre's Mainstage from January 19 to February 10, 2013, with an Opening Night performance on Friday, January 25 at 8pm.

Sideshow Theatre Company continues its 2012/13 season with the Chicago premiere of MARIA/STUART by Jason Grote, directed by Marti Lyons, playing March 30 - May 5, 2013 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominations for the 2013 Golden Globes Awards this morning, live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Among the nominations was the hit NBC musical drama SMASH, which was given a nod for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical. SMASH stars Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty commented on the news this morning.
