Woodie King, Jr.'s New Federal Theatre (NFT) celebrated its 40th anniversary with a special Gala at the historic Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street) last night, May 22nd. This special event saluting NFT, for 40 years a seminal force in Black Theater, was co-hosted by Randall Pinkston (CBS News) and Lynn Whitfield. Chairmen for the event were Laurence Fishburne, John Morning and Susan Taylor. The Honorary Chair was Dr. Maya Angelou. TV Land announced today that some of television and film's most iconic names will be presenters at the '8th Annual TV Land Awards.' Billy Crystal, Jane Leeves, Jay Leno, Wendie Malick, Bob Newhart and Betty White will be on hand to salute some of television biggest stars - Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner; the casts of 'Everybody Loves Raymond,' 'The Love Boat' and more. The '8th Annual TV Land Award' tapes on Saturday, April 17 at Sony Studios on the historic Stage 15 in Culver City, it airs on TV Land on Sunday, April 25 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

TV Land announced today that it will honor the popular series 'The Love Boat' with the Fan Favorite Award at the '8th Annual TV Land Awards,' hosted by Tim Allen. The show is scheduled to tape on Saturday, April 17 on the historic Stage 15 on the Sony Lot in Culver City and will air on TV Land on Sunday, April 25 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
