Pittsburgh CLO to Welcome Brandon Lambert & John Wascavage to Cast of MURDER FOR TWO

Pittsburgh CLO will welcome the newest members of the cast of Murder For Two to the CLO Cabaret, November 26 - January 18. Point Park University alums Brandon Lambert and John Wascavage will debut as 'Marcus' and 'The Suspects' this Wednesday evening, and continue their run through January 18. Pushcart Players to Bring HOLIDAY TALES to Queensborough PAC

'DISCORD' Extends Again Through Dec 21 at the Geffen Playhouse

The Geffen Playhouse production of The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord, is extending for a third time, now through December 21, 2014. The production, in the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater at the Geffen Playhouse, is written by Scott Carter, executive producer and writer for Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect and Real Time.

A.R.T. to Present THE LIGHT PRINCESS, Beginning 12/7

Following previous season's sold-out holiday hits, The Snow Queen, Hansel and Gretel, the A.R.T. Institute, in association with the Loeb Drama Center, brings back the enchanting musical, The Light Princess, by Lila Rose Kaplan with music by Mike Pettry, directed by Allegra Libonati, with choreography by Jeff and Rick Kuperman. Performances will be held at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge from December 7 through January 4, 2015.

POCATELLO Begins Tonight at Playwrights Horizons

Playwrights Horizons' production of POCATELLO, the world premiere of a new play by Obie, Drama Desk and Lortel awards winner and 2014 MacArthur Foundation 'Genius' grantee Samuel D. Hunter (The Whale at PH, The Few, A Bright New Boise), is directed by Davis McCallum (The Whale at PH, The Few, London Wall, A Bright New Boise, Water by the Spoonful). The play is the third production of the theater company's 2014/2015 Season. The production will begin previews tonight, November 21 with an opening night set for Monday, December 15. The limited engagement will play through Sunday evening, January 4, 2015 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

THE GAME'S AFOOT Opens 12/5 at TheatreWorks New Milford

On Friday, December 5 at 8:00 p.m., TheatreWorks New Milford will proudly present the hilarious Holiday whodunit, THE GAME'S AFOOT OR HOLMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS by Ken Ludwig. The show opens for a five-week run.

Sundance Institute Sets Seven Artists for 2015 Playwrights & Composers Retreat

Sundance Institute today announced the seven artists selected for its 2015 Playwrights & Composers Retreat at Ucross Foundation. The 16th annual writing colony at the 20,000-acre working cattle ranch outside of Sheridan, WY takes place February 2-20. Under the supervision of Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, the Playwrights Retreat is made possible through the generosity of Ucross Foundation. The program is one of the 24 residency labs across many creative disciplines focusing on artistic process that Sundance Institute offers annually.

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING Begins 12/3 at Shakespeare Theatre of NJ

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's 2014 Season will conclude with the Bard's beloved battle of wits, Much Ado About Nothing. Renowned Stratford Festival artist Scott Wentworth will perform "double duty," directing the production and playing the staunch bachelor Benedick, opposite his real-life wife Marion Adler as the feisty Beatrice. This production will celebrate the winter holiday season, filled with music and dance that evokes the end of World War II, White Christmas era. Performances begin December 3rd at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Ave. (at Lancaster Road) in Madison.

Lowell Byers Leads PERICLES, PRINCE OF TYRE, Beginning Tonight at The Old Globe

The Old Globe teams with the University of San Diego Graduate Theatre Program to present William Shakespeare's Pericles, Prince of Tyre, directed by Ray Chambers and running tonight, November 15 - November 23 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
