Comprising works by two luminaries of twentieth century literature, a giant of European Theatre and one of the great English novelists, the season kicks off with Winnie The Pooh creator, A A Milne's 1921 theatrical work The Dover Road, which runs from September 6 to October 1 and is directed by Nichola McAuliffe. The Dover Road, which was first performed in 1921, is a light- hearted comedy set in a mysterious house just off the Dover Road, inhabited by the enigmatic Mr Latimer. Two runaway couples find themselves enjoying the hospitality of a complete stranger, who seems to have an underlying purpose of his own...

DENVER – Colorado Ballet Artistic Director Gil Boggs promoted Corps de Ballet dancers Morgan Buchanan and Kevin Gaël Thomas to Soloists. In addition, Boggs promoted two Studio Company dancers to Apprentices, for a total of 30 professional Company dancers for the 2016-2017 season.

Instead of the usual gala fare -- bits of firecracker variations and pieces of ballet classics -- Sergei Danilian's 'Ardani 25 Dance Gala' at New York City Center, August 19 and 20, is classic Danilian. The intrepid impresario, who has never side-stepped risk, will celebrate Ardani Artists's quarter century of producing in the United States and abroad with a trio of U.S. premieres, two by young, unknown, but up-and-coming Russian choreographers, and one by American Ballet Theatre principal Marcelo Gomes.

After its successful run in 2014, Doctuh Mistuh Productions will be bringing SILENCE! THE MUSICAL back to Austin, Texas for a three week run, August 18 through September 4. DMP will be remounting the revival at Austin Playhouse in Highland Mall. Amy Downing will be reprising her award-winning performance as Clarice Starling. She will be joined by original cast members Huck Huckaby (Hannibal), David Ponton (Buffalo Bill), Libby Dees Detling (Catherine & Senator Martin), and Matt Connely (Papa Schtarling). New cast members include Andrew Cannata (Dr. Chilton), Scott Shipman (Jack Crawford), Jessica O'Brien (Ardelia Mapp), Kathryn Lane (Dream Clarice) and Brian DeFilippo (Dream Hannibal). The production will be stage and music directed by DMP Artistic Director Michael McKelvey.

Its development was made possible by a generous 'hidden archival collections' grant from the Council on Library and Information Resources. Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, is pleased to announce the recipients of the latest round of Global Connections. Supported by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Global Connections encourages reciprocity and cultural exchange through two programs: ON the ROAD grants to foster new relationships with international colleagues; and IN the LAB grants to further pre-existing international collaborations. Now in its fifth year, the Global Connections program awarded a total of $70,000 to ten projects in this year's cycle, with over $700,000 awarded to date.
