Jeff Kready and Tally Sessions Bring A FINE BROMANCE to Feinstein's/54 Below

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Jeff Kready and Tally Sessions in a return engagement of their hit show "A Fine Bromance" on June 13th, 2018 at 9:30PM. "A Fine Bromance" played to a sold-out crowd in its first appearance at Feinstein's/54 Below in the fall of 2017. Jeff Kready (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Billy Elliot, Les Miserables) and Tally Sessions (War Paint, Falsettos, School of Rock) bring an evening of jazz standards, classic show tunes and new favorites, with their own special brand of hilarity, to Feinstein's/54 Below. The Rat Pack meets Simon & Garfunkel meets Abbott & Costello. They'll make you laugh, they'll make you cry, and some of it will be on purpose. You won't want to miss this late night musical extravaganza of comfort food and belly laughs for the soul.

Award Winning Production of THE INVISIBLE HAND Opens At TheaterWorks, Today

Rob Ruggiero, Producing Artistic Director announced today that TheaterWorks  will present the Westport Country Playhouse's acclaimed production of THE INVISIBLE HAND by Ayad Akhtar, May 24 through June 23, 2018.  THE INVISIBLE HAND is the fourth show of TheaterWorks 32nd Season.

Casting Announced For A LESSON FROM ALOES at Hartford Stage

Hartford Stage Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak and Managing Director Michael Stotts today announced the cast and creative team for Athol Fugard's A Lesson from Aloes. Ariyon Bakare, Randall Newsome and Andrus Nichols will appear in the revered Fugard drama. The play will perform Today, May 17, through Sunday, June 10 - closing out Hartford Stage's 2017-18 season. Tresnjak will direct.

Milwaukee Rep's PTI Ensemble Performs LOST GIRL

Milwaukee Repertory Theater presents the World Premiere production of Lost Girl by Kimberly Belflower performed by the 2017/18 Professional Training Institute (PTI) ensemble this July 19-22, 2018 in the Stiemke Studio.  PTI is an advanced actor-training program for students in 8th-12th grade who may have an interest in pursuing a career as a professional theater artist.   The 2017/18 PTI ensemble features sixteen students hailing from fourteen different high schools who received free training from some of the top theater professionals in the world, culminating in this capstone performance  of Lost Girl where they will be employed as paid, professional actors.

TheaterWorks Announces Its 2017-2018 Season

Producing Artistic Director Rob Ruggiero announced today that TheaterWorks 2018-2019 Season will include The River by Jez Butterworth, A Doll's House, Part 2 by Lucas Hnath, Fully Committed by Becky Mode, and Actually by Anna Zeigler. The fifth and final production will be announced shortly.

The Acting Company Presents William Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT

The Acting Company (Ian Belknap, Artistic Director; Elisa Spencer-Kaplan, Executive Director) presents William Shakespeare's beloved comedy, Twelfth Night, directed by Tony nominee Maria Aitken (The 39 Steps) with a dynamic cast of The Acting Company alumni and ensemble members of Delaware's Resident Ensemble Players (REP). When her ship is wrecked, Viola washes ashore in the unfamiliar land of Illyria and embarks on a journey to find her lost brother. Brimming with music, love and longing, Shakespeare's enchanting play transports audiences to a world of comedic mayhem, mistaken identity and unrequited passion. This co-production with the Resident Ensemble Players comes to Polonsky Shakespeare Center (262 Ashland Pl, Brooklyn), May 10-27.

THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST Opens At Hale Centre Theatre

Hale Centre Theatre's season continues with the opening of a top-notch revival of Oscar Wilde's endlessly entertaining comedy The Importance of Being Earnest.  Directed by Cambrian James, this sparkling comedy which the London Telegraph calls "the most perfect comedy in the English language" plays April 5 through May 12, 2018.  Tickets are $32.00 and are on sale now to the general public. Discounts are available for children and groups of 10 or more.

BWW Interview: Christa Scott-Reed in DANCING AT LUGHNASA at TRT

Dancing at Lughnasa will be performed at Two River Theater from April 14 to May 13. Written by Brian Friel and directed by Jessica Stone, the cast includes Megan Byrne, Michael Cumpsty, Meredith Garretson, Mylinda Hull, Cillian O'Sullivan, Christa Scott-Reed, Mandy Siegfried , and Harry Smith. 100 Theaters Join Playwrights in The Nationwide Ticketing Initiative
