CHIPANDGUS to Return for Fringe Encore Series at SoHo Playhouse

A MICROWAVED BURRITO FILLED WITH E. COLI Coming to FringeNYC

The comedic duo Andrea Alton and Allen Warnock return to the 20th Annual New York International Fringe Festival with their new comedy A Microwaved Burrito Filled With E. coli. Written by Alton and Warnock who previously worked together on the critically acclaimed 2008 FringeNYC production of Carl & Shelly: Best Friends Forever which went on to a commercial run in 2010. In addition, they've performed together at the Chicago, DC, Provincetown, MA, and Toronto Sketch Comedy & Theatre Festivals, HOT! Festival at Dixon Place, as well as numerous shows at The People's Improv Theater (The PIT) and Upright Citizen's Brigade (UCB) in New York City.

Photo Flash: First Look at Ragtag Theatre Company's THE COMMEDIA CINDERELLA

Ragtag Theatre Company, is a Commedia dell' Arte troupe residing at The Soho Playhouse dedicated to creating fresh and unique live LGBTQ theatre designed specifically for the entire family. Think DRAG for kids. In short, they do fairytales. But not yo mama's fairytales -- they do fractured fairytales that spoof and riff off of pop culture... (much like Animaniacs or Shrek), and they do it all in the style of Commedia dell'Arte, which is an early style of Italian street theatre that incorporates big funny characters, improvisation, and direct audience involvement all in one. All of the company's shows are audience interactive and the kids integrated into every performance.

Cast of LITTLE WARS Set for Reading, Signing at Drama Book Shop

The Drama Book Shop welcomes an acclaimed cast, comprised of actors from the original New York production and from the play's Bermuda premier, for a reading of Steven Carl McCasland's play Little Wars. The 12:30pm reading will take place in the shop's downstairs Arthur Seelen Theatre. It will be followed by a signing with the playwright.
