Due to overwhelming attendance and positive response during our Opening Weekend, Surfside Players, Cocoa Beach, is extending the run of CATS, the musical by Andrew Lloyd-Webber.

IN THE HEIGHTS, winner of four 2008 Tony Awards® and the 2008 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Show Album, is coming to the Academy of Music in Philadelphia from January 18 through 23 as part of the Broadway Season.

Brian Cox, Jim Gaffigan, Chris Noth, Jason Patric and Kiefer Sutherland will star in the Broadway revival of Jason Miller's Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON, directed by Gregory Mosher. Preview performances begin on Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 with an official opening on Sunday, March 6th, 2011 at the Bernard B Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45 Street). THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS will play its final performance on Broadway this Sunday, December 12.

The City of Philadelphia along with legendary local radio personality Jerry Blavat will welcome the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award Winning Best Musical, JERSEY BOYS, to Philadelphia for an 11-week engagement at the Forrest Theatre beginning Sept. 30 to Dec. 12. JERSEY BOYS is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

Dates have been announced for the Philadelphia engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the Forrest Theatre, as part of the new 2010-2011 Broadway Season. The musical will make its Philadelphia premiere on September 30, 2010 and play through Dec. 12, 2010.

The Wall Street Journal reports today that THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS may return to Broadway in the Spring for a repeat run just before the Tony Awards. According to the report, once THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS shutters in on Sunday, the producers are 'planning to put together a national tour for the musical and [hope] to bring it back to Broadway for a limited run before the Tony Awards in the spring.'
