The Hope Summer Repertory Theatre continues the season with the heartwarming musical I Do! I Do!, which opened on Friday, June 25th at 8:00 p.m. in the Knickerbocker Theatre.

Veteran actress Kathleen Turner returns to the stage in the role of a recovering alcoholic nun in Matthew Lombardo's world premiere HIGH, presented by Hartford's TheaterWorks. The production is scheduled to run from July 9 to August 22.

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) has made a change to the previously announced Mainstage season. Due to a schedule conflict that has developed for the performers (who are also the authors), Louis and Keely: Live at the Sahara will no longer be included on the schedule. Over the Tavern, which was scheduled to close The Rep season will now be presented in the holiday slot December 1 through 26.

Rep Stage, the professional Equity theatre in residence at Howard Community College (HCC), continues its 17th season with Eric Overmyer's 'On the Verge or The Geography of Yearning.' Mel Gussow, in his New York Times review of 'On the Verge...' wrote, 'Blending Tom Stoppard's limber linguistics with the historic overview of a Thornton Wilder, Mr. Overmyer takes his audience on a mirthful safari that leads from darkest Africa to Terra Incognita, spinning into time travel.'

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park has adjusted the order of the shows in the 2010 - 2011 Robert S. Marx Theatre Season. Over the Tavern by Tom Dudzick will now play January 22 - February 19, 2011 (previously April 23 - May 21, 2011).

The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (The Rep) ends its 2009-2010 Mainstage series with The Fantasticks with book and lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Harvey Schmidt on April 11th.

Rehearsals begin today, Monday, April 5 for the World Premiere production of PARADISE FOUND, a new musical under the combined direction of Theater legend and 21-time Tony Award winner Harold Prince (the original productions of Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, The Phantom of the Opera, Company, Follies, Evita) and 5-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman (Crazy For You, Show Boat, The Producers, Contact). This is their first collaboration since the landmark, Tony Award-winning revival of Show Boat. Following the New York rehearsal period, the production will open at London's acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory with performances running May 19 through June 26.

Associate Artistic Director Seth Gordon will be leaving The Cleveland Play House in May to begin a new opportunity as Associate Artistic Director at The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.

Kevin Kline Award winner Ben Nordstrom and St. Louis veteran actor Steve Isom star in the St. Louis premiere of GUTENBERG! THE MUSICAL!, the Off-Broadway hit that the New York Times called 'A Smashing Success!' The Temporary Theatre (The Temp), a new company headed by Isom, has chosen as its inaugural offering the exclamation point-littered two-man musical spoof by Scott Brown and Anthony King.
