Tickets On Sale Now For Kravis Center's 'Dream Awards' For High School Musical Theater

Tickets are now on sale for the Kravis Center Dream Awards: Celebrating High School Musical Theater Excellence. This showcase performance event will be held at 7 pm on Sunday, June 3, at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts' Dreyfoos Hall and will feature student performers from 10 local high schools. Ticket prices start at $15 and featured musicals will include Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Bye Bye Birdie, The Drowsy Chaperone, Fiddler on the Roof, Ghost, Hairspray, Kiss Me Kate, Legally Blonde, Oliver! The Musical, Sweet Charity and White Christmas.

The Black Jacket Symphony celebrates the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" with a full live recreation, including "With a Little Help from My Friends," "Getting Better" and "A Day in the Life" - plus a full set of The Beatles' greatest hits. Dedicated to recreating classic rock albums note for note, sound for sound, The Black Jacket Symphony is bringing along the Florida Rock Orchestra for what will be the concert experience of the year. Featuring a full video wall, lighting, and state-of-the-art graphics, this original rock experience takes the stage at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on April 29.

Theatre Works has announced the casting of stage, film and television stars Karen Malina White and Gilbert Glenn Brown for their upcoming tour of the Olivier Award-winning hit play, The Mountaintop. As the nation honors the 50th anniversary of his passing, the fictional tale of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s last night alive comes to the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts as a part of the Center's P.E.A.K. Series April 20 - 21, 2018.
Kravis Center To Host 'A Class Act NY' Workshop With SCHOOL OF ROCK Star

Lulu Lloyd, a star of School of Rock on Broadway, will give a one-night theater workshop with A Class Act NY on Thursday, April 26, at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. Students ages 7-24 with a passion for musical theater will have the opportunity to learn a song and dance combo from School of Rock, or take an auditioning technique workshop with Lloyd. They will also be able to participate in a Q&A with Lloyd and enjoy an autograph and photo session.

Pascal Rioult's RIOULT Dance NY announces its Centered On The Future 2018 Winter Gala to be held on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers – Pier 61 a 6:30pm. This year's Gala will honor Joseph W. Armbrust, Kaufman Astoria Studios, and Steinway & Sons. The Gala Co-Chairs are John A. MacKinnon and Harsha Murthy. Long-time friends of the company, actress Kathleen Turner, will speak and offer a special rendition of It's Only A Paper Moon, and Tony nominated Christine Andreas will sing Hymne a L'Amour reprising her 2015 collaboration with RIOULT. The Gala will feature dance performances, an auction, a gourmet dinner, followed by a DJ and dancing.

Several arrangements showcase all ten pianos playing together, and each of the artists performs a solo as well.
