The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts is located at 720 Northern Boulevard, Brookville, NY 11548-1300. Titan Theatre Company's Lenny Banovez Named Next Artistic Director Of Hope Summer Rep

Hope Summer Repertory Theatre (HSRT) announced today that Lenny Banovez has been named Artistic Director heading into the 2018 Season. Banovez, who is also the Artistic Director of Titan Theatre Company, the Award winning & critically acclaimed theatre in Queens, joins the company after former Artistic Director David Colacci stepped down last fall after 25 years of service to the company. Because the two company's season schedules are complementary, Banovez will split time between Titan and HSRT, serving in New York from September through April and in Holland, Michigan May through August.

Performances of Ironbound begin at the Kitchen Theatre Company in The Percy Browning Performance Space on January 21 and run through February 4.

Primal Forces Announces GLAAD Winner Communion

Primal Forces (www.primalforces.com) explores today's cultural divide with the provocative play, Communion by Daniel MacIvor. The GLAAD-winning production features a lesbian psychiatrist, an alcoholic and her evangelical daughter who form a tense triangle. MacIvor's examination of women in modern-day society stars Jacqueline Laggy, Kim Ostrenko and Jenna Wyatt and is directed by Keith Garsson. Communion opens January 24, 2018 at Empire Stage.

East West Players Welcomes New Board Members

East West Players (EWP), the nation's longest-running professional theater of color and the largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work, is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members to the Board of Directors: Jason M. Blackwell, Reggie Lee, Rose Chan Loui, Sally Pai Unruh, and Jeff Yang. The new appointments hail from diverse backgrounds in finance, media, television, film, and philanthropy, and arrive at a significant time for the organization as EWP embarks on the biggest season in its 52-year history, which includes the Los Angeles premiere of the Broadway musical Allegiance, in partnership with Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC).
