Kim David Smith, Trapper Felides and More Set for THE MEETING at Joe's Pub, 2/15

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater on Sunday, February 15 at 9:30 PM to continue the Winter/Spring 2015 Season. The February show will be a celebration of International Bottom Appreciation Day, the holiday traditionally held on February 15, the day after Valentine's Day. Click here for a brief history of the holiday. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director with special guests Kim David Smith, L'Manda, Trapper Felides, Chris Tyler and Brian Moylan.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Golden Globe and Drama Desk Award winner Michael C. Hall will return to Hedwig and the Angry Inch from Tuesday, February 17 - Saturday, February 21. John Cameron Mitchell will continue in the show through Saturday, February 14 and will then take a one week leave to attend to a knee injury. John will return as 'Hedwig' on Tuesday, February 24 through Sunday, April 26. In honor of his return, BroadwayWorld flashes back to Hall's run in the show below!

Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced final casting for the upcoming World Premiere production of Five Presidents. Broadway and television veterans Mark Jacoby, Martin L'Herault, Steve Sheridan, Jeff Steitzer, and Brit Whittle, along with Rep Associate Artist Reese Madigan, make up the cast of Five Presidents from Emmy Award-winning writer Rick Cleveland (The West Wing, House of Cards, Mad Men, and Six Feet Under).

The Public Theater will begin previews for the New York premiere of JOSEPHINE AND I on Friday, February 27. As part of New York Voices, the artist commissioning program of Joe's Pub at The Public, iconoclast singer-songwriter Martha Redbone brings forth an epic, unexpected and personal American journey in Bone Hill, a new musical theater work featuring original music by Redbone and Aaron Whitby, and co-written and directed by Roberta Uno. Tonight, February 11, 13 and 14, 2015 at 7:00PM, Redbone will perform a concert of songs from the work-in-progress at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette, NYC), with an all-star band in tow.

Tony® Award-winner Michael Cerveris ('Bruce Bechdel'), three time Tony® Award nominee Judy Kuhn ('Helen Bechdel'), Beth Malone ('Alison'), Obie Award-winner Sydney Lucas ('Small Alison'), Emily Skeggs ('Medium Alison'), and more will reprise their roles from The Public Theater's acclaimed production of Fun Home on Broadway this Spring. Joel Perez and Roberta Colindrez will also return to the cast, with Zell Morrow and Oscar Williams joining the production as Alison's brothers John and Christian respectively. With music by four-time Tony® Award nominee Jeanine Tesori, a book and lyrics by Tony® Award nominee Lisa Kron and direction by Drama Desk nominee Sam Gold, Fun Home will now begin preview performances at the Circle in the Square Theatre (1633 Broadway, NYC) on Friday, March 27th, with an official opening night set for Sunday, April 19th.
