?The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater on Sunday, February 15 at 9:30 PM to continue the Winter/Spring 2015 Season.

HAMILTON began performances on Tuesday, January 20 and has been extended twice through April 5, with an official press opening on Tuesday, February 17. This world premiere musical features a book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda; is inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow; with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler; and directed byThomas Kail. Back in 2009, Miranda performed some of the songs from the new musical at the White House Poetry Jam, and then again in 2012 as a part of his American Songbook concert. The Old Globe today announced it will open its 2015-2016 Season with In Your Arms, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia). Co-conceived by Gattelli and Jennifer Manocherian, In Your Arms features 10 dance vignettes written by an incredible and diverse lineup of theatre powerhouses, including Douglas Carter Beane, Nilo Cruz, Christopher Durang, Carrie Fisher, David Henry Hwang, Rajiv Joseph, Terrence McNally, Marsha Norman, Lynn Nottage, and Alfred Uhry. Among them, the creators have amassed 14 Tony Awards, five Pulitzer Prizes, six Pulitzer finalist designations, and one Academy Award.

Five plays - one about a young woman's coming of age at the intersection of the Jewish and American communities; one about the friendship between the actor and civil rights activist Paul Robeson and Soviet Jews during WWII; one about a feisty, successful Yiddish actress who fiercely guards her agonizing secrets from a zealous director; one about love and scandal in the 1921 Yiddish Art Theater's production of Ansky's 'The Dybbuk'; and one which takes place during 1945 at the closing of WWII in the Jewish neighborhood of Saratoga Springs known as 'Gut' -- have been chosen as the finalists in first-ever National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's [NYTF] International David and Clare Rosen Memorial Play Contest.

American Repertory Theatre (A.R.T.) has announced that the January 27 at 7:30PM performance of 'Father Comes Home From The Wars' has been canceled due to the storm.

On Thursday, February 19 at 7:00PM, Catie Lazarus returns to Joe's Pub at The Public for the next season of her beloved live talk show, The Employee of the Month Show (EOTM), with guests Jon Stewart, Natasha Lyonne and Sherman 'OT' Powell. The FTP (Film Theatre Performance) Festival will be an annual US event for films that deal directly with the themes of theatre and performance. The mission is to present experimental, emerging, and established theatre artists and filmmakers to audiences and industry professionals from around the world. The festival program includes feature films, short films, documentaries, advance screenings, meet-the-filmmaker Q&A sessions, and panels with leading artists in the field.

This February, Joe's Pub at The Public presents a slate of shows to romance and titillate in honor of Valentine's Day. From February 10-14 , every night will feature at least one show celebrating love and lust, including alt-pop singer Rachael Sage, cabaret goddess Bridget Everett, a night of Michael Jackson and Prince love songs led by Toshi Reagon, fiery soul star XAVIER and friends, the tantalizing Brown Girls Burlesque and the V-day edition of Never Sleep Alone. Following last night's highly anticipated first preview of HAMILTON at the Public, TodayTix hosted the exclusive afterparty at the Public's Library Bar. The Public Theater announced today that George Brant's spellbinding, ripped-from-the-headlines play GROUNDED, with Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway, has been added to the 2014-15 downtown season. Directed by Academy Award nominee and two-time Tony Award winner Julie Taymor, GROUNDED marks the return to the Public Theater stage for Hathaway who played Viola in the 2009 Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night. GROUNDED will begin performances in the Anspacher Theater on Tuesday, April 7 and run through Sunday, May 17, with an official press opening on Thursday, April 23.

The centerpiece of Pittsburgh Public Theater's 40th anniversary Season of Legends is My Fair Lady, the musical event with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. Directed and choreographed by Ted Pappas, My Fair Lady runs tonight, January 22 - February 22, 2015 at the O'Reilly Theater, Pittsburgh Public Theater's home in the heart of Downtown's Cultural District.

BAM and Barclays Center present Contemporary Color, a performance event created by music icon David Byrne, co-commissioned by BAM and Toronto's Luminato Festival, and inspired by the high school phenomenon of color guard, known as 'the sport of the arts.'

The award-winning Brooklyn-based ensemble the TEAM has announced the release of two new published works, as part of their 10th anniversary: an anthology titled Five Plays By The TEAM, and the script for RoosevElvis, both published by Oberon Books.
