Almeida Artistic Director Rupert Goold said: 'We are thrilled to present three major new productions at the Almeida, including two world premieres and one rare revival. Spanning the Atlantic and beyond, this season is a timely and limitless interrogation into contemporary cultural anxieties and the power we have over our own lives.'

The first UK and Ireland tour of Billy Elliot the Musical opens tomorrow night, Wednesday 24 February, at the Plymouth Theatre Royal. The show stars Matthew Lyons, Lewis Smallman, Haydn May and Adam Abbou as 'Billy Elliot'.

The New Group presents the Off-Broadway premiere of Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, which launched the company's 2015-16 season last night, August 19, 2015 (previews began August 5). MERCURY FUR by Philip Ridley is directed by Scott Elliott and runs at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre (480 West 42nd Street).

The New Group has announced complete casting for the Off-Broadway premiere of Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, the production launching the company's upcoming season, and initial casting for the world premiere of Mark Gerrard's Steve, the second production in the company's 2015-2016 season.

The New Group has announced three productions for its 2015-2016 Season.  The company's new season kicks off in Summer 2015 with the Off-Broadway premiere of Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, directed by Scott Elliott.  The season continues in Fall 2015 with the world premiere of Mark Gerrard's Steve, with director Cynthia Nixon returning to The New Group, where she made her directorial debut earlier this year.  In Winter 2016, Scott Elliott directs Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Buried Child, featuring Ed Harris and Amy Madigan, who return to The New Group with this production.

The Watermill Theatre Newbury, Jamie Wilson, Paul Elliott and Duncan C Weldon are delighted to announce full casting and further touring dates for the forthcoming new production of the musical 'CALAMITY JANE', opening at The Watermill Theatre, Newbury on Thursday 17 July 2014 where it will play until Saturday 6 September 2014 prior to embarking on a national tour that opens at the Plymouth Theatre Royal on Thursday 16 September. According to published reports, stage and screen star Christopher Malcolm passed away on February 15 from cancer. He was 67 years old.
