Upcoming Theatre Communication Group Member Shows - 10/30 for San Diego

LAByrinth Theater Company (Co-Artistic Directors Stephen Adly Guirgis, Mimi O'Donnell, Yul Vázquez, and Managing Director Danny Feldman) has announced the creative team for The Atmosphere of Memory by David Bar Katz.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the West Coast Premiere of Dividing the Estate, the final play by Pulitzer Prize winner Horton Foote. Directed by Michael Wilson, Dividing the Estate will run Jan. 14 - Feb. 12, 2012 in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

American Rose Theatre (ART), an award-winning, San Diego based non-profit educational theater company, announces their fall production of Spring Awakening, a new musical from the Tony and Grammy award-winning pair, Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, with 10 performances October 28 - November 6, 2011 at The Lyceum Space in Horton Plaza, downtown San Diego.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Some Lovers, a new musical with book and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award winner Steven Sater and music by Academy and Grammy Award-winning legend Burt Bacharach. Directed by Will Frears with music supervision by Lon Hoyt and choreography by Denis Jones, Some Lovers will run Nov. 26 - Dec. 31 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run Nov. 26 - Dec. 6. Arden Theatre Company 2011/12 main stage season continues with The Whipping Man a Civil War drama by Matthew Lopez and directed by Matt Pfeiffer. This story of legacy and redemption will appear on the Arden's Arcadia Stage from October 27-December 18, 2011.

The New Ohio Theatre presents an industry reading of the new play Schooled, written by Lisa Lewis and directed by Oliver Butler, starring Michael Cerveris, Phoebe Strole, James Kautz and Mara Davi, with dramaturgy by Matthew Schneider. The reading will take place on Tuesday, November 15 at 8pm at the New Ohio Theatre, located at 154 Christopher Street, between Greenwich and Washington Streets in New York City.
