SOOP Theatre Company brings the Tony Award-winning play, God of Carnage, to southern Westchester this fall.

The Windy City's own Ron Hawking returns this fall to Apollo Theater Chicago (2540 N Lincoln Ave) with the 10-year anniversary celebration of The Men and Their Music, produced by Rob Kolson Creative Productions, Inc.

Aurora Theatre Company opens its 26th season with Rebecca Gilman's (Blue Surge, Spinning Into Butter, The Sweetest Swing in Baseball) LUNA GALE. Aurora Artistic Director Tom Ross directs this powerful and arresting Bay Area Premiere, featuring Jamie Jones (Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, Mud Blue Sky, Gideon's Knot), Laura Jane Bailey (Mud Blue Sky), Devin S. O'­Brien (Mud Blue Sky), Joshua Marx (TheatreWorks), Alix Cuadra (Theatre of Yugen), Kevin Kemp (Shotgun Players), and Jennifer Vega.  LUNA GALE plays September 1 through October 1 at the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley. Dito van Reigersberg, best known for his work with Pig Iron Theatre Company and as his alter-ego, cabaret queen Martha Graham Cracker, is set to star in Jonathan Tolins' one-man comedy Buyer & Cellar. van Reigersberg replaces previously announced John Jarboe after Jarboe's departure to join Arden Theatre Company's production of Kander & Ebb's Cabaret.

Brooke first fell in love with the Apprentice program when she played Little Cosette in Les Miserables. She will be attending Missouri State University in the fall as a freshman Musical Theatre major.

One for the money, two for the show! William Alderson and the River Street Theater Company present two plays by Leonard Melfi, LUNCHTIME FROM ENCOUNTERS and BIRDBATH.

Playwright and director Anthony P. Pennino has announced the world premiere of his play Christ Detained by the Department of Homeland Security as part of the 2017 Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The play stars Joseph Jones as Jesus of Nazareth and Karl Knapp as Special Agent Clyde Hill. The first performance is Wednesday June 14 at 7:30 pm.

The Brink Theatre Company presents the world premiere of SA'IDAH, an observation of America's celebrity obsessed culture, the paparazzi uprising and the growing distorted approach to modern philanthropy at the 14th annual Cincinnati Fringe Festival. Directed by The Brink Theatre's Artistic Associate CARA E. HINH and written by JENNIFER HOYT-TIDWELL, the play will feature Maya Farhat as Sa'idah, Mary O'Connell as Kirsten, Richard Buchanan as Taylor, Greg Mallios as David and Ashley Dunn as Nina.

Pick Your Ear Productions will present a repertoire of what may be considered some of Tennessee Williams' most popular one act plays, produced by Nicole Gut and directed by Tony Award nominee, Lorraine Serabian.
