Sophocles' ELECTRA is heading to the National Theatre of Greece, running in various locations until Sept. 19 as part of the theatre's summer tour series.

In a unique collaboration with CSU San Marcos, theatre artist and educator  Rebecca Johannsen returns to San Diego to present her moving and powerful exploration of female soldiers. Women at War is devised from Johannsen's interviews conducted with the US Army's Female Engagement Team (FET) Unit, deployed to Afghanistan from 2012-2013. The unit's mission was to engage with the local female Afghan population to build relationships and gather intelligence. They often found themselves in combat zones before women were legally allowed in combat, and received intensive physical training to prepare for the mission. The production runs November 7-10. Talk-backs will follow each production in collaboration with CSUSM Veteran's Center.

The classic Arthur Miller play, A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE, is running at the National Theatre of Greece in the Ziller Building until May 27.

Poet Simon Mole will be bringing Friends For All, his interactive spoken word performance for families, to The Roundhouse, London, on Sunday 24 June 2018 at 1.00pm & 3.00pm as part of his 2018 Spring Tour. The performance is part of The Last Word Festival, celebrating fearless storytelling.

St. Ann's Warehouse and Onassis Cultural Centre-Athens present the American Premiere of Nikos Karathanos' The Birds, a modern, feast-for-the-senses adaptation of Aristophanes' offbeat and poetic comedy.

Friends For All is a story about having the confidence to be yourself and stand up for what you believe in and features rapping, dancing and far-out video projections for ages 5-11 and their grown-ups.

London based rapper Simon Mole brings his interactive spoken word performance for families to Polka Theatre from Friday 20 October - Sunday 22 October.

The play's text was partially taken from a book by November 17 terrorist Savvas Xiros.
