On Monday, February 22nd, New York Theatre Barn presents its monthly showcase for emerging writers and performers at the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theater which will feature the music of Katya Stanislavskaya and Eric March.

Hello My Name is Billy, a new musical by Tim Aumiller and Scott Schneider Directed by Tim Aumiller. Featuring Casey McClellan as Billy and also starring Aaron Kliner, Tush, Robert Maril and Scott Schneider. Performances will be held at The Duplex.

Cait Doyle's Hot Mess in Manhattan (2009 MAC Award for Best Female Debut) returns to the Duplex (61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue) on February 5th & 20th at 9:30pm

The American Theatre Wing has announced the recipients of the 2010 Jonathan Larson® Grants. The grants, given annually to honor emerging composers, lyricists and book writers, help to continue Tony Award®-winning composer Jonathan Larson's dream of infusing musical theatre with a contemporary, joyful, urban vitality. After considering 165 applications, Peter Lerman, Daniel Mate, and songwriting team Michael Kooman (music) and Christopher Dimond (book & lyrics) were selected to receive the prestigious grants, totaling $10,000. They will be honored at a presentation on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Touch (240 W52 St.) in New York City.
