With eight performances still remaining in Denver, Disney's THE LION KING is already celebrating a sold-out, record-breaking engagement at The Buell Theatre.

The Denver Center Theatre Company announced today that it will receive a $30,000 grant from The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) that will go towards the World Premiere production of TWO THINGS YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT AT DINNER.
GIRLS ONLY, written by Barbara Gehring and Linda Klein, is an original comedy that celebrates the honor, truth, humor and silliness of being female. With a two-woman cast and audiences full of raucous, laughing ladies, the show has found quick popularity in its unique examination of all things girly. The two roles in the show are performed by Gehring and Klein, as well as Amie MacKenzie.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts will host the 2nd production of Theatre Threads, a costume runway show, on Friday October 21 at 11:30am in the Seawell Grand Ballroom. The show will feature 22 costumes from the Denver Center Theatre Company's 30+-year history. Theatre Threads is a benefit for arts in education programs at the Denver Center.
