Greenhouse Theater Center (2257 N. Lincoln Ave ) and Sideshow Theatre Company present the world premiere of "The Happiest Place on Earth," written by and starring Joseph Jefferson Award-winning playwright and Sideshow Artistic Associate Philip Dawkins and directed by Sideshow Artistic Director Jonathan L. Green.  The show runs Sept. 17 - Oct. 23 with the press opening on Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m. 

Sideshow Theatre Company will continue its 2016/17 Season with Calamity West's wry and subversive world premiere GIVE IT ALL BACK, directed by artistic associate Marti Lyons, playing November 20 - December 18, 2016 at Victory Gardens. 

As it embarks on its 10th Anniversary Season, Sideshow Theatre Company is pleased to announce the playwrights for "The Freshness Initiative," the company's commissioning and new play development program, now in its third year. The 2016/17 season will feature public readings of brand new plays by J. Nicole Brooks, Selina Fillinger and Isaac Gomez. The readings will take place at Victory Gardens Theater during May, June and July of 2017. Two of the world premiere productions featured in Sideshow's 2016/17 Season were developed through "The Freshness Initiative," Philip Dawkins' The Happiest Place on Earth and Calamity West's Give It All Back.

What do a Baptist, a bro in handcuffs, and a botched funeral have in common? Find out in Reconciling, a rapid-fire dark comedy where one word has multiple meanings and shared phrases weave in and out of the collective unconscious to result in a dizzying coming-of-age tale.

Following a lengthy search process, Sideshow Theatre Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Weddell as its new executive director effective at the end of April.
