Performance Network Theatre Presents THE GLASS MENAGERIE, Now thru 10/4

Sixty-eight years after its premiere, The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams has withstood the tides of change and is sweeping Performance Network Theatre into its 2012-2013 Great American Theatre Season with preview performances tonight, September 27 - October 4 and an opening champagne reception on October 5 followed by performances through October 28.

Way Off Broadway's WINNIE THE POOH Visits Frederick Library Today, 9/26

Winnie the Pooh, one of the most popular children's characters of all time, has made his home at the Way Off Broadway Children's Theatre this fall with the theatre's production of Disney's Winnie the Pooh. Today, September 26th, Pooh and his friends will be venturing from Way Off Broadway to the Frederick Library for its 11:00 a.m. story time.

Round House Theatre Presents I LOVE TO EAT, 10/17-11/4

Round House Theatre continues its 2012/13 season with the regional premiere of I Love to Eat by James Still, which runs October 17 thru November 4. Leon Major directs this look at the delightfully zesty life of renowned chef James Beard. Nick Olcott portrays the culinary maestro described as "the face and belly of American gastronomy." Opening night is Monday, October 22, 2012.

PETER PAN Plays The Growing Stage, Now thru 10/14

The Growing Stage, The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre on Route 183 in Netcong, New Jersey will be opening its 1st production of the 2012-2013 Main Stage Season - PETER PAN - the Musical. The production is under the direction of Stephen L. Fredericks, the Growing Stage's Executive Director, with musical direction by Laura Petrie and choreography by Jillian Petrie.

American Blues Theater Presents ILLEGAL USE OF HANDS World Premiere, Now thru 9/30

American Blues Theater (ABT), Chicago's second oldest Equity ensemble, kicks off the Ensemble's 27th season with the world premiere of Illegal Use of Hands by Emmy Award-winner, two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and ABT Artistic Affiliate James Still, directed by Sandy Shinner, tonight, August 31 - September 30 at Victory Gardens' Richard Christiansen Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue. Press opening for Illegal Use of Hands is Thursday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $10 - $39. Complete ticket information including ticket on-sale date and performance schedule will be announced at a later date.

Un-Common Theatre Company Announces Boston Children's Theatre Festival Events

On Sunday, July 15th 2012, theatre lovers of all ages will be joining hundreds of Boston area children and teens at the 5th annual CBACT Children's Theatre Festival, hosted this year by the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston in Newton, MA, home of JCC Kaleidoscope Camp and JCC Showstoppers.
