First produced on Broadway in 1944 where it ran for four years, this new production stars James Dreyfus as Elwood P. Dowd and Maureen Lipman as his sister, Veta.

Britten's Simple Symphony, Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna and Schubert's Mass in A-flat will be performed Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. at University of Chicago's Rockefeller Chapel, 5850 S. The Earth-An HD Odyssey is the highly anticipated second installment of the Symphony's groundbreaking HD Odyssey film trilogy and Music Director Andres Orozco-Estrada's first recording release with the Houston Symphony.
