The Lambs , America's oldest professional theatrical organization, has been invited to perform Chekhov's 'The Proposal' in Moscow at the International Theater Festival, 'Spring in Melikhovo 2019.'

Harvey Sabinson, one of Broadway's legendary press agents, and former long-time executive director of The Broadway League, died on April 18, 2019 of natural causes at his residence in Sarasota, Florida. He was 94 years old.

Notes to Wherever written and performed by Judy Frank, will have a limited run at the Cherry Lane Theatre December 11 - 22. The performances are a benefit for The Actors Fund which Frank has been a member since 1969. She is also a National Ambassador for the fund.

Michael Feinstein and the Pasadena POPS close out their popular outdoor summer concert series at the Los Angeles County Arboretum on Saturday, September 8 with Broadway Goes to the Movies. The POPS season finale will provide a quintessential Feinstein experience with some of Broadway's greatest performers recreating songs from hit shows that traveled from 42nd St. to Hollywood. "This program is going to celebrate all the different musical aspects of Broadway and Hollywood," says Feinstein, who has put together a program spanning the Broadway canon from My Fair Lady to The Sound of Music to Jersey Boys. Highlights include "The Impossible Dream," "Can't Take My Eyes off of You," and "There's No Business Like Show Business," among many other beloved showtunes.

On Monday, May 14th, six time Tony Award winning producer, Stewart F. Lane was inducted in to the Manhattan Jewish Hall of Fame. The Manhattan Jewish Historical Initiative (MJHI) honors the important and varied contributions of distinguished individuals who have lived and thrived in Manhattan. Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer hosted the event, which was held in the historic venue, the Library of The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen of the City of New York.

Academy Award and Golden Globe winning performer George Chakiris and acclaimed dancer, Barrie Chase have been named the honorees for the Professional Dancers Society's (PDS) annual Gypsy Awards Luncheon, it was announced by PDS President, Mitzi Gaynor and PDS Board Chairman, Joni Berry.  Emmy and Grammy nominated choreographer/director/singer Toni Basil will receive the organization's Choreographer's Award.  PDS' 31st Anniversary Luncheon will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel (9876 Wilshire Blvd.) in Beverly Hills, CA.

The Tony Award-winner and original Jersey Boy, John Lloyd Young, appeared on Morning Blend in Las Vegas to promote his upcoming two-night engagement at The Space. Young talked about the upcoming show, and performed 'Unchained Melody,' which will be on his setlist.

Coming straight from sold-out shows at the historic Cafe Carlyle in NYC, Tony Award-winner performer John Lloyd Young returns to The Space for another two-night engagement making him the first internationally-acclaimed performer to return to The Space's stage.  The star of the hit musical "Jersey Boys" on both Broadway and the Clint Eastwood-directed film, is set to grace the stage for two nights only on Friday, March 2 and Saturday, March 3. Westport Country Playhouse will present the musical Junie B. Jones, based on the popular book by Barbara Park, as part of its Family Festivities Series on Sunday, February 11, at 1 and 4 p.m. Produced by TheatreWorks USA, the one-hour production is appropriate for grades K through 5. Tickets are $20.

For the second time in its inaugural year, The Space welcomes a Tony Award-winning performer to the stage. John Lloyd Young, star of the hit musical Jersey Boys on both Broadway and the Clint Eastwood-directed film, is set to grace the stage for a two-night engagement Today, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9.

Your Kids, Our Kids presents the 3rd Annual VOICES FOR THE VOICELESS: Stars For Foster Kids, an event that brings together the very best performers from the American stage and screen to raise awareness about the plight of kids in foster care, particularly those aged 13 and older who are in danger of aging out of the foster care system alone.

Following the passing of her husband of 40 years, a woman continues to share her life with him through a series of written notes. On this night, in a gesture of letting go, the woman decides to read them aloud.
